Overall Job Purpose To support the Global Information Security Programme team to ensure that they meet their deliverables with regard to the implementation of the wider strategy and programme of work. In conjunction with GISTP team, to allocate, drive and support existing and new projects / initiatives to team leaders and suggest project team and possible approaches. In conjunction with GISTP team, provide BA capability in order to ensure that departments and teams are remediating and maintaining services and processes to policy and standards. To undertake data capture, analysis and reconciliation from multiple sources (often at short notice) in order to produce high quality reports for management. To introduce more rigorous planning, estimating, tracking and risk analysis tools and techniques to support more effective progress reporting. To ensure Management Information (MI) is available and accurate at all times. To support projects within the portfolio by developing business cases and measuring against them. To provide support and guidance to other GIS functions. Key Accountabilities & approximate time split Reporting, Modelling and Data Analysis 75% In-depth analysis of data sources to ascertain inter service dependencies and capabilities Providing development and delivery of business operational processes. Developing presentations for senior management. Development of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for GIS. Generation of user journeys and use cases Requirements gathering, analysis and prioritisation Control 25% Ensuring that all initiatives or activities are assigned and accepted by owners. Monitor progress, assess risk, resolve issues and manage dependencies. Maintain the GIS Risk & Control plan and undertake regular progress reporting to the wider team and Senior management. Provide Subject Matter Expertise in relation to business analysis processes Person Specification Experience Working as a Business Analyst on Informnation security projects/programmes of work Communication skills: writing and presentation skills which create clear messages, a sense of involvement Stakeholder management skills, including negotiation and influencing Significant interpersonal skills Strategic approach with a focus on the bigger picture Good written skills, with ability to translate a wide range and large volume of complex information into simple, accurate, clear, consistent and compelling messages for colleagues at all levels Excellent planning skills Ability to operate effectively in a virtual team working environment The ability to extract and understand the underlying picture from a wealth of information Able to extrapolate credible intuitive insights from incomplete or inconsistent data. Proven analytical ability Track record of delivering high-quality analysis and deliverables Financial services experience Requirements gathering, data analysis, maintenance and definition Business Modelling and Financial MI analysis Technical analysis skills Business communication skills High degree of organisational awareness.
