A good knowledge of Dutch is required for this Business Analyst role; reading, understanding, speaking, and writing in French and English is also recommended.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough analysis and mapping of current (AS-IS) and future (TO-BE) process flows to optimize and enhance efficiency.
- Identify and document business requirements using various collection techniques.
- Determine functionalities (including non-functional requirements) the IT solution must support.
- Explore market-available solutions, conducting high-level fit analysis to shortlist options.
- Design high-level applications with a focus on planning and internal module functionalities.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and IT architecture.
- Define clear and achievable goals for internal projects and formalize project specifications.
- Act as a liaison between business and IT teams, effectively communicating and prioritizing business needs for new or modified IT systems.
- Organize and lead workshops with internal stakeholders to gather insights and share ideas.
Technical Skills (Mandatory):
Minimum 5 years of experience in business and functional analysis in ICT projects.
Proficient in gathering business requirements through interviews, surveys, observations, and workshops.
Skilled in analyzing, designing, and optimizing business processes and workflows.
Experience in impact analysis, business case development, and documenting functional and technical documents.
Proficiency in Office tools and understanding of non-functional requirements.
Fluent in Dutch, with good reading, writing, and speaking skills in French and English.
Desirable Skills:
- Knowledge of UML and BPMN design and modeling techniques.
- Experience with agile methodologies, scrum, and various SDLC facets.
- Project management experience (PM/PMBOK/ITIL/PRINCE2).
