Overview
A forward-thinking organization is in search of an experienced Application Tester to play a crucial role in the implementation of its strategic plan. This involves transitioning from the current HRAccent software application to a modern payroll front tool used by clients and integrated into the future HR Ecosystem.
Role Description
As an Application Tester, you will be an integral part of an agile team, which includes a scrum master, UX/UI designer, analysts, architects, and developers. Your responsibilities include:
- Taking ownership of the testing role to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Adopting a comprehensive view of the application to determine various testing aspects (system testing, E2E testing, API testing, performance testing, etc.).
- Structuring and executing tests efficiently, ensuring optimal test coverage.
- Automating tests where feasible and sensible, and performing performance testing in collaboration with developers.
- Reporting on test progress and developing the testing approach in consultation with IT, aiding in the enhancement of testing capabilities.
Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in testing, including setting up and executing tests.
- Ability to take a holistic view of the application to determine testing requirements.
- Experience in automating tests and conducting performance testing.
- Proficiency in developing structured and efficient test strategies.
Language Requirements
- Dutch or French required
