Job description
- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP Master Data solutions, including data governance, data quality, and data integration.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their master data needs and develop strategies to manage and maintain master data across various SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management), SD (Sales and Distribution), and FI (Financial Accounting).
- Configure and customize SAP Master Data objects, including Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, and Financial Master Data.
- Develop and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational standards.
- Integrate SAP Master Data with other SAP and non-SAP systems to ensure consistent and accurate data flow across the enterprise.
- Lead data migration and data cleansing activities, ensuring successful data transfer and quality assurance during system transitions and upgrades.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams and clients on best practices for master data management.
- Develop and deliver training materials, workshops, and presentations to educate clients and internal teams on SAP Master Data processes and tools.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for master data issues, optimizing processes and resolving data-related challenges.
- Stay abreast of the latest SAP technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance master data management strategies.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Extensive experience (typically 8+ years) in SAP Master Data management, with a proven track record in a lead or senior consulting role.
Strong knowledge of SAP Master Data objects and processes, including Material Master, Vendor Master, Customer Master, and Financial Master Data.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori applications is a plus.
Demonstrated expertise in data governance, data quality, and data integration.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
Experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
SAP certification in Master Data or related modules is preferred.
